On November 25, 2021, the second lecture of the lectures series sponsored by the Section of English Teaching and Research for Undergraduates was successfully held online through Tencent Meeting. The topic was “Subtle Words with Profound Meaning: Courtroom Discourse”. The speaker was Associate Prof. Hao Ruili, from the the Section of English Teaching and Research for Undergraduates. Commentators of the lecture were Prof. Zhang Qing, Dean of the School of Foreign Studies of CUPL, and Prof. Zhang Lei, Vice Dean of the School of Foreign Studies of CUPL. The lecture was moderated by Associate Prof. Zhao Hongfang from the Section of English Teaching and Research for Undergraduates.
