On October 31, 2019, the 1^st Reading Club about Multilingual Foreign Literature and Culture Frontier Theory was successfully held in A920 of the Science and Research Building at the Xueyuanlu Campus. The speaker Sheng Anfeng, Professor of the Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures of Tsinghua University, was invited by the School of Foreign Studies to give a lecture on Introduction to Shakespearean Negotiations: the Circulation of Social Energy in Renaissance written by Stephen Greenblatt. The lecture was moderated by Prof. Zhang Lei, Vice Dean of the School of Foreign Studies.
