On November 8, the seminar on “Documenting, Translating and Researching US Congress’ China-related Acts (1979-2019)”, a National Social Science Fund project, undertaken by Prof. Zhang Falian, was at the Xueyuanlu Campus of CUPL. More than fifty participants, officials and experts from the CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection (CCDI), Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China, the Ministry of Justice of the People's Republic of China, the Legislative Affairs Commission of the National People's Congress (NPC) of the People's Republic of China, the Research Institute of CPC History and Documents of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, and editorial office of Foreign Languages in China, and scholars and Ph.D. candidates from universities and research institutes, such as Beijing Foreign Studies University, Beijing Language and Culture University, Dalian University of Foreign Languages, Renmin University of China, Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Communication University of China, and Beijing Union University, attended the seminar.
