On April 9, 2021, the 266th Academic Forum of CUPL was held in Conference Room of the Research Building at the Xueyuanlu Campus of CUPL. Prof. Huang Youyi, former Deputy Director-General of China Foreign Languages Publishing Administration, Executive Vice President of Translators Association of China and Vice President of China Academy of Translation, gave a wonderful lecture on “In-depth Understanding, Accurate Translation and Effective Communication: Experience from Translating CPC literature”. This lecture was sponsored by the Research Office and organized by the School of Foreign Studies of CUPL. Prof. Li Guoqiang, Chair of the School Council, moderated the lecture.

Prof. Huang Youyi shared his experience of translating CPC literature from three aspects, i.e. how to learn, how to translate and how to communicate with vivid examples from Xi Jinping, The Governance of China.
