On June 10, 2022, the book club organized by the Section of English Teaching and Research for Undergraduates was held online. Four students from the Class of 2021 exchanged their thoughts after reading The Crowd by Gustave Le Bon, a French social psychologist, from different perspectives. The event was moderated by Associate Prof. Li Xiuli. Prof. Zhang Lei, Vice Dean of the School of Foreign Studies, was the guest commentator. Prof. Tian Linan, Vice Dean of the School of Foreign Studies, Associate Prof. Liu Yan, Director of the Section of English Teaching and Research for Undergraduates, Associate Prof. Zhang Wenjuan and Associate Prof. .Zhang Zhuojuan, who are also Deputy Directors of the Section, and other 70 teachers and students also attended the event.
