At 18:00 on September 24, 2021, the first lecture of the Lecture Series on Academic Writing for Postgraduates was successfully held in Room 513 of the Complex Building at the Xueyuanlu Campus. The theme of this lecture was “Safety” in Paper Writing – Ethics and Writing.

Prof. Ye Hong from the Institute of English Studies and Assistant Prof. Wang Yuzhu from the Institute of Russian Studies were invited as speakers.  Associate Prof. Gao Li from the Institute of German Studies served as the moderator, and Song Bo, head of the Quality Oversight Office of the Graduate School of CUPL, served as the guest commentator. Prof. Zhang Lei, organizer of this lecture series and Vice Dean of the School of Foreign Studies of CUPL, Associate Prof. Xu Xinyan, head of the Section of Foreign Language Teaching and Research for Postgraduates, Associate Prof. Xu Feng from the Institute of English Studies, and staff from the Office of Postgraduate Affairs also attended the lecture. The lecture series was launched as a driver for academic researches for postgraduate students.
