In the evening of November 23, 2019, the 242nd Academic Forum of CUPL was held in Room B209 of the Research Building at the Xueyuanlu Campus. Professor Cai Shengqin, Dean of the School of Foreign Languages of Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, was invited to deliver a lecture on “South African Literature: Overseas Contribution to English Literature in the 20th Century: With Reference to South African Literature”. The forum was moderated by Professor Zhang Lei, Vice Dean of the School of Foreign Studies, CUPL. Many teachers and postgraduate students from our school and other schools attended the forum.
