The program aims at preparing students with professional skills in translation and interpreting, a solid competency in both Chinese and English languages, and a wide range of knowledge in law. Students will also master the linguistic features of legal English, comprehend legal systems of China and major foreign countries, and understand fundamental translation theories. Upon completion of the program, students are expected to become high-caliber interdisciplinary and cross-cultural professional talents and who are highly qualified to undertake legal translation and interpreting.
