The 2nd Poster Design Competition themed “Walking with the Classics”, jointly launched by the Section of English Teaching and Research for Undergraduates of the School of Foreign Studies, CUPL, and the Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press(FLTRP) is now calling for postors.

1. Requirement of work

Participants can use graphics, color, text or other materials to make poster designs, the theme of which must be based on the following reading list of humanistic classics:

1) The Crowd

2) Democracy: An American Novel

3) The Social Contract

4) The Path of the Law

5) Frankenstein

The poster creations should be inspiring and display such necessary information as work information, outline and post-reading thoughts .

2. Submission Requirement

Submission time: May16 - May 31, 2022

Collection categories: hand-painted posters (in a photographed electronic version), electronic posters (vertical typesetting creation, 55cm wide, 75cm high, with the resolution above 300dpi and in an electronic JPG format with a file size of less than 20M.)

File name: submission + title of work + name of author + contact number

How to Submit:

1) The subject of the registration email is “submission + title of work + name of author + contact number”.

In accordance with relevant laws and regulations, the entries must be original works without any plagiarism or prior use.

2021 undergraduates of China University of Political Science and Law (CUPL)

5. Appraisal and awards

The appraising method is a combination of expert appraisal from both inside and outside CUPL and WeChat public voting;

Three students will be awarded the first prizes, 5 the second prizes; and 10 the third prizes. All winning students will receive certificates of honor and prizes.

The winning works will be displayed via the WeChat official account of the School of Foreign Studies, CUPL, and the reading service platform of FLTRP.
