Under the context of globalization and China’s policy of developing strong workforce, as well as the flourishing interdisciplinary development of foreign language majors, Guizhou University of Commerce (GZCC) and the School of Foreign Studies of China University of Political Science of Law (CUPL) held a symposium on the recruitment and attraction of high-caliber talent in Conference Room A920 at the Xueyuanlu Campus in April 25, 2023.

Vice Dean Prof. Wang Yang and Prof. Zhang Xiaohua of the Department of Foreign Languages and the School of International Education of GZCC visited our school. Prof. Zhang Lei, Vice Dean of the School of Foreign Studies, moderated the symposium. Prof. Li Guoqiang, Chair of the School Council, Associate Prof. Zhao Jingjing, Director of the Institute of French Studies, Associate Prof. Liu Yan, Director of the Section of English Teaching and Research for Undergraduates, Dr. Wang Qingran, Deputy Director of the Section, and Liu Ting, Director of the Office of Postgraduate Affairs attended the symposium. The two sides engaged in discussion on talent recruitment for discipline development in the new era.
