The 8th General Conference of the Translators Association of China (TAC) was held in Beijing on April 1. During the conference, the TAC awarded the honorary titles of “Lifetime Achievement Award in Translation” to eight recipients and “Translator with Outstanding Achievement” to 117 senior translators from all walks of life for their long-term dedication and contribution to translation practice and research. Prof. Huang Daoxiu from China University of Political Science and Law (CUPL) was awarded the honorary title of “Translator with Outstanding Contribution”.
