At 18: 00 on November 11, the Opening Ceremony of the 17th Foreign Language and Culture Festival of CUPL and the Final of English Speaking Contest was successfully held in the Conference Room on the Third Floor of the Main Building at the Chingping Campus. The guests attending this event included Shao Wenyu, Deputy Director of the Office of Academic Affairs of CUPL, Li Guoqiang, Chair of the School Council of the School of Foreign Studies, Zhang Qing, Dean of the School of Foreign Studies, Tian Linan, Vice Dean of the School of Foreign Studies and Vice Chair of the School Council, Zhang Yanping, Vice Chair of the School Council, Zhang Lei, Vice Dean of the School of Foreign Studies, Chen Xiangrong, Teaching Supervisor, Xu Xinyan, Director of the Section of Foreign Language Teaching and Research for Postgraduates, Liu Yan, Director of the Section of Foreign Language Teaching and Research for Undergraduates, Li Xiaolong, Director of the Institute of German Studies, Zhang Hongqin of the Institute of English Studies, Navarro, a foreign teacher, Yang Tianwa of the Institute of Translation and Interpreting, Xu Huifang, Secretary of the Communist Youth League Committee Branch and Student Counsellors Pu Bingyan and Lyu Mengting.
