In the afternoon of November 12, 2020, the English Speaking Contest of the 6^th Law and Translation Culture Festival of CUPL and the preliminary round of the 2020 English Speaking Contest for Beijing Postgraduate Students was successfully held in Conference Room B211 of the Research Building at the Xueyuanlu Campus of China University of Political Science and Law (CUPL). The topic of the speech contest was China’s Fight Against COVID-19. This contest was sponsored by the School of Foreign Studies, CUPL. Judges of the contests included Prof. Ma Jing, Associate Prof. Zhang Changmei and Associate Prof. Wang Min from the Section of English Teaching and Research for Undergraduates, Associate Prof Liu Yan, Deputy Director of the Section of Foreign Language Teaching and Research for Postgraduates, and Associate Prof. Wang Fang from the Institute of Translation and Interpreting. Liu Zhenqi and Zhang Xuan, 2020 postgraduates of Master of Translation and Interpreting (MTI) moderated this contest.
