On December 12, 2024, Professor Zhang Qing, Dean of the School of Foreign Studies (SFS) at China University of Political Science and Law (CUPL), and Professor Zhang Yanping, Vice Chair of the School Council, led a delegation of key faculty members to visit the International Cooperation Bureau of the Supreme People's Procuratorate (SPP ICB). The delegation conducted a productive symposium and research exchange.
During the meeting with SPP ICB officials, both parties engaged in in-depth discussions on the current landscape and future trends of foreign-related legal affairs. They explored collaboration opportunities in areas such as foreign-related procuratorial work and the cultivation of foreign-related legal professionals. This visit reinforced connections between SFS and national authorities, establishing a robust foundation for future cooperation. The dialogue deepened the School’s understanding of foreign-related legal affairs and identified innovative pathways for cultivating foreign-related legal professionals. SFS aims to align closely with national development goals and address the demand for specialized professionals by establishing concrete cooperation mechanisms with relevant institutions. SFS remains committed to nurturing high-standard foreign-related legal professionals and advancing development of DTI. These efforts will address the urgent need for legal professionals in the context of globalization, contributing to national legal development and international cooperation.
