The Section of Spanish Teaching and Research is mainly responsible for the teaching of the Experimental Class of Spanish Legal Professionals, including courses on the Spanish language, laws and cultures of Hispanic countries. The Section also offers courses on the Spanish language to students of other majors.
There are four teachers in the Section of Spanish Teaching and Research, including one professor and three assistant professors. All of the four full-time teachers have Ph.D. or master’s degrees with overseas experience. Since 2015, the Section of Spanish Teaching and Research has been exploring the talents training mode of “foreign language plus” and has been innovating the curriculum of Experimental Class of Spanish Legal Professionals, aiming to set up an international and interdisciplinary “foreign language + law” mode of talents cultivation.
The Section of Spanish Teaching and Research has organized a host of cultural activities, including lectures given by experts from top universities, international classes taught by professors from overseas first-class universities, newspapers featuring legal Spanish, Spanish Culture Day and trainings and internship at home and abroad.
